Privacy Policy

Last updated: 27 October 2026

This policy explains what UNO Studio collects when you use unostudio.design, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. We keep it short because we collect very little.

UNO Studio is operated by UNO Studio Limited, a company registered in Nigeria ("UNO Studio", "we", "us"). We work remotely, so the best way to reach us is hello@unostudio.design.

What we collect

What you send us

  • Contact form: your name, email, what you need and your message.
  • Chat with Abdul: the full conversation, any email or company name you share, and any files you attach.
  • "Get notified" sign-ups: your email and the product you signed up for.
  • Partner programme interest forms: If you submit an interest form for one of our partner programmes, UNO Studio uses your details to assess what you qualify for and to contact you. We share your details with the US-based AI research company that licenses the data, which we work with directly, and with service providers who help us run the programme (hosting, email).
    • How long we keep it: up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless we sign an agreement (then its terms apply). Test submissions are deleted after a day. The person who referred you can ask us to remove their details at any time.
    • Referrers: if you sign up to refer companies to one of our partner programmes, we collect your name, phone or WhatsApp number, email, state of residence, your Tax ID if you give it, and your acceptance of the referral terms. We use them to run the referral programme: to credit your referrals, pay your referral fees, withhold tax where the law requires it and send you a tax receipt for each payment, and to email you about the companies you refer. We give the tax authority the tax details it needs (your name, Tax ID, state and the tax withheld from your fees), as the law requires. When you ask to sign in to your referrer dashboard, we email you a one-time sign-in link. A company you refer may see your first name.

What your browser sends automatically

  • Your IP address: used to stop spam and abuse (rate limiting) and, as a one-way daily code, to count unique visits. It is never stored, and never used to identify or profile you.
  • Visit counts: we count visits ourselves, without cookies or third-party analytics: the page, the website that sent you (its domain only), your approximate location (country and city), and your device type, browser and screen size. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, nothing is recorded. Visit details are kept for 90 days, then only as daily totals.
  • Chat IDs stored in your browser: these let you see your conversations from the last 30 days on this device. You can delete them from the chat menu or by clearing your browser's site data.

What we do not collect

  • We don't use advertising cookies.
  • We don't track you across other websites.
  • Our fonts are hosted on our own servers, so loading the site doesn't send your details to font providers.

Why we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and give you an estimate.
  • To send you a copy of your chat when you ask for one.
  • To tell you when a product you signed up for goes live.
  • To keep the site secure and stop misuse.
  • To improve how we answer questions, by reviewing past conversations.

To keep improving our chat assistant, we keep anonymised copies of conversations for up to 24 months. Names, emails, phone numbers, company names and other identifying details are removed first. What's left helps us understand what people ask most, and where our answers could be clearer or more useful.

We rely on your consent (you chose to contact us), on steps you ask us to take before a possible contract, and on our legitimate interest in running a secure website.

The Abdul chat

The chat on this site is an AI assistant that speaks on Abdul's behalf, and Abdul reads the conversations. Any price it gives is a rough, non-binding estimate. A real quote only comes after we review your brief. Don't share passwords, payment details or other sensitive personal information in the chat.

Who processes your data for us

We use a small number of trusted service providers to run the site: website hosting, a secure database and file storage, an AI provider that powers the Abdul chat, an email delivery service and our business email. They only process your data to provide their service to us. You can ask us for their names at any time.

Some of these providers process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

  • Chats: the full conversation is deleted after 30 days, unless it becomes an enquiry. An anonymised copy, with nothing that identifies you, is kept for up to 24 months to help us improve our answers.
  • Enquiries (and the chats that led to them): up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless we start working together. After that, the terms of our agreement apply.
  • "Get notified" sign-ups: until the product launches or you unsubscribe.
  • Abuse-prevention records: a few days.

You can ask us to delete your data sooner.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:

  • give you a copy of your data
  • correct it
  • delete it
  • restrict how we use it
  • stop using it
  • send it to you in a portable format

You can also withdraw your consent at any time. To do any of this, email hello@unostudio.design. We'll reply within 30 days.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to your local data protection authority. In Nigeria, that's the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

Children

This site is for businesses and isn't meant for anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect data from children.

Security

Your data is encrypted in transit and access is limited to authorised UNO Studio staff, with every access logged. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll make it clear on the site.
